Lancashire based The Light Yard gets a Twitter Boost from Theo Paphitis
A Lancashire based lighting firm received a business boost from TV Dragons’ Den star Theo Paphitis. Last week, Jeff Fuller, owner of The Light Yard, tweeted the ex Dragon about his business during ‘Small Business Sunday’, an initiative set up by Theo that runs
weekly. Theo re‐tweeted Jeff’s message to his 445,000 followers and as a result, the business (www.thelightyard.com) has 200 more followers and extra orders for their handcrafted pendant and wall lights.
They are also profiled on a new website (www.theopaphitissbs.com) that is exclusive to Small Business Sunday winners.
Jeff Fuller said, “We’ve only been in business a year and I still work from an office at home. It is great to have support from Theo because it’s been tough trying to raise our profile. This award is recognition of all our hard work and has helped spread the word
about what we do.”
Anyone looking for a re‐tweet from Theo should tweet him about their business on Sunday between 5 PM and 7.30 PM and include the hashtag #SBS. Six lucky businesses are re‐ tweeted every Monday at 8 PM and then invited to enter their profile on
the new website.
